Effective Monday, October 1, 2018 through Wednesday, October 31, 2018, the 31st District Court is holding an Amnesty Program for delinquent traffic tickets. The program provides individuals an opportunity to settle outstanding court financial obligations while saving money. In addition, this program is designed to coincide with the Michigan Secretary of State eliminating driver responsibility fees.
Court users can take advantage of this program in person or online. The Online Amnesty Application allows court users to search for their delinquent tickets and make payment at a discounted rate online without having to appear in person at the Court. The Online Amnesty Application can be reached here, and more information on Driver Responsibility Fees can be found at the Secretary of State website.For court users wishing to appear in person at the Court, extended business hours are being offered on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 when the Court will be open from 8a – 6p. Standard business hours are 8a – 4p, Monday through Friday.
